Designer 

Percival Lafer (1936 - ) was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil and he is ranked amongst the greatest furniture designers of the Mid-Century Modern period. While most are aware of the many great designers that have come from the United States and Europe, Percival Lafer was one of the few designers outside of those regions who managed to make a very big impact in furniture design. Lafer’s designs and productions began in the early 1960s and continued until the late 1970s.
