Material
Brazilian Rosewood, or Dalbergia nigra and also known as "Jacaranda" or Jacarandá-da-Bahia isa prized exotic wood from Brazil’s Atlantic Forest. A wood that would only be in production from approximately 1955 to 1969. Brazil then placed a trade embargo around 1969 on the harvesting of this wood to protect it from extinction and later in 1992 it became banned by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora to trade internationally.
